GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE | SHELTER
The Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Program is a comprehensive support system designed for survivors of gender-based violence, including physical, emotional, sexual, and economic abuse. Our program provides immediate crisis intervention, safe spaces, counseling, and systematic support networks to empower individuals to reclaim their lives. With a commitment to breaking the cycle of abuse, we offer a multi-faceted approach that includes legal assistance, victim advocacy, education, and case-management services.
The program works closely with local law enforcement, health services, and community organizations to ensure that survivors of gender-based violence have access to a full range of wrap-around services. Our focus is on both the prevention of violence and the provision of tools for survivors to rebuild their lives.
Educational workshops on healthy relationships, self-care, and community support are a key part of our services, empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and their communities.
